I am super-happy with this figure so far. Not perfect, but it feels like it addresses a lot of small complaints that I had with previous releases from HT. Plus, it's just so much damn fun to pose

It's an absolute beast compared to the regular Batfleck.

Mine arrived today and I agree, he’s a beast. Plus the detail work is quite impressive. I was so anxious to get a good look at him that I dumped the hands, mouthpieces and goggles all over the place when the cape provided more resistance than I was expecting. Thought I was past such rookie mistakes. Lol

So my local store just got this figure in and I haven't had a chance to stop by and see it in person yet, but I'm torn between buying this figure or waiting to buy the normal Batflack figure from the JL. I missed out on the previous releases and I'm looking to get one definitive Batman figure for my collection. Any suggestions?

If you're only getting one it just depends which look you prefer. I love this figure and the previous Knightmare and armoured releases but favouring a more traditional look if I could only get one I'd always choose the regular suit first. Also you get the Affleck sculpt with the JL regular figure.

If however you prefer Batman with a more armoured look this is probably the one to go for. It's a happy medium between the regular look and the full on armour he wore to fight Superman.

It's a hard choice, as the differences between the regular BVS and JL costumes are a lot more subtle. Depends on what you're after, because if the tactical suit is any indicator then it looks like the texture on the JL batsuit will be a lot more subdued than on the BVS version.

I personally prefer the HT BVS figure to the JL one, as it appears a lot more beastly and bulky, emphasising that crusty old crimefighter look. Plus, the regular batsuit figures have great poseability to boot. My suggestion, would be to invest in one of them and a custom cape, to give them that extra bit of cinematic class.

tried the tech face plates on bvs bats ,i really like it ,its not a perfect fit but looks okay to me ,no fussing just placed it in to see how it looked

Grabbed a few more quick pics on the weekend. For the penultimate Batfleck figure, this one may just be my favourite of the entire lot. Got to say, I particularly love the texture on his suit, that more subtle design just works wonders for me.

I disagree, there were many scenes of cool action with this suit on and many of the details could be seen.
That being said the movie is not about the suit.

Love that guy, not great for posing but he looks good pretty much at any angle.
No need for a custom cape either, this one drapes well and has a great texture.

I received mine in the first week of January (total surprise as I forgot I ordered it and was not watching the order status).

Fantastic figure. Great detail all around. Tons of options for the head. Love the visor look.

I REALLY need to order the normal suit Batman from JL. I missed the BvS one and the SS one. I currently only have Armored suit and Tactical suit Batman. Knightmare would be awesome but finding one of those affordably is impossible. Hot Toys has given me 3 shots at a normal Batfleck and I probably shouldn't pass on this last one.
