I only have her helmet to finish i think before i can call her complete.

Good question.
I am tempted to go with blonde.
As the hair comes off in one piece, it will be easy to do a repaint.
I did add a couple of spots of superglue to hold it on after repainting the eyes, but it will still pop off easily enough.
Any suggestions on another hair colour?

Well if i am going with blonde, i will have to start with dark brown anyway and work lighter with washes.
So i'll see how it looks.

That is a good idea too. If i can pick up another head and the Blonde doesn't have the desired effect, i will try that.
I was also considering platinum blonde, nearly white. It would be an eerie effect with those pale blue eyes. And i could also add blue highlights like i did on the armour.
I'll maybe see if i can photoshop some colours onto the hair and see how it looks.

Okay, i gave the hair a paintjob today.
I started by priming it white(Even though i was going to be starting with browns to build up the dirty blonde colour), just to see if white was a cool look.
Although i think it *is* a cool look, i kept on with the blonde.

Thanks. I haven't painted blonde hair on a figure in a while. I still remembered how and it's great to break out an old technique you haven't used in ages.
It's looking really great. So this one is nearly done.

I realised mine's mid-bicep articulation is a little bit loose in her right arm anyone else had a problem like that?

I just checked on mine, and the mid bicep articulation appears to only have two or three positions. It felt like i was at the end of the articulation, so i never pushed it any further.
It's possible you went past the stop and broke it.
Maybe not, but it's a possible explanation if it's really loose.

Yup, her left arm works like that. But her right arm is a bit more loose I can only movie it to the third position. Maybe she was just cheaper than I thought I was very careful with her I didn't try any expreme pose or anything.

Its a bit annoying but I realy don't feel like buying another body just for that, I can live with that I can still pose her pretty much however I want I guess.

A local store will have her soon so.. I'm pretty sure I'll end up buying the whole figure again, and I just said I didn't even want to buy a second body

The cheapest i can find online is $79.99 before shipping for the body.
If your local place has keen pricing for the whole thing, that could be the decider.

The price is 190, its not too bad... I don't feel like changing the body of my old Ada so I'll buy it again as soon as its in stock. I might keep the old one to play until the body breaks completely

Do a custom with the other one.
I just watched Appleseed Alpha last night, and was impressed with Deunan's new look. It occurred to me that one of my patented *Blonde Ada* repaints would be just the thing for a custom Deunan, even though Deunan parts her hair on the other side, lol. The rest would be fairly easy to put together.
