The thought of having Iron Man, Thor, and Cap makes me want Black Widow. I hope they make Fury too.

I was just looking at BW thinking the same.

But I just can't get myself to purchase a barbie with big boobs.

Besides, it doesnt even look like ScarJoe.

Fury I would definately jump on.

The way the helmet looks on will be a deal breaker for me... and how much I like the film, of course... I'm not really a big Thor fan but I'm digging the way the film looks over Cap, ATM.

I'm in the same boat. I dig everything else about this figure, but I'm not seeing how the helmet is gonna fit on that hair without it looking silly. And if I get this figure, he will be wearing the helmet. Maybe removable hair like the Platoon Taylor?

Same. Rooted hair means no go for me. And that sucks, because I would like a Widow to pose with the rest of my Avengers.

It's usually the die-hard fans that are most critical to the small details, so I understand where you're coming from. All I can say is, the head is really not that bad and that it's actually pretty good, considering the fact that it's the first Hemsworth head sculpt. It took they about 4 tries to get to where they are with RDJ's headsculpt and I'm confident they'll get there quicker with Hemsworth since they're off to a great start already. I wouldn't dare miss out on this figure

I agree Gully, I wasnt too big on the movie costume design either. I liked the latest Thor look in the comics myself and while Hemsworth himself did a good job bulking up, I still think they should add more to the costume. The movie pants and boots just plain suck IMO too biker looking. Sorry if everyone likes it not trying to stir anything up.

I hope Calcifer's right about the articulation factor. A batsuit/musclesuit limits the posability so much. (Hellboy, anyone?)
Looks like they were trying to strike a balance. I have to admire HT's thoughtful engineering and attention to detail, even if I find this Marvel Ultimates-lite Thor design a bit underwhelming.

Hope the flick is good. Trailer looked promising, although Asgard looked like the lobby of a Vegas casino...

yeap he looks thin...and sthng not rght with the costume design by the movie prop guys...they did marvellous job for ironman marks but thor, well maybe these are only early footage..loving the teaser i watched so far!

Yeah I hope the movie doesnt fail, I have a Thor tatoo Im a huge fan. I think the movie looks pretty good actually, considering it would be one of the harder comic book movies to make work. So many bizarre places from Norse Mythology and Frost giants to Aliens and Earth. It looks like they made it pretty seamless in the trailer at least.

Hot Toys really needs to make a superhero muscle body. The figure looks great but just too thin to properly represent the strongest Marvel character.

He does need a boost in the deltoid area on the figure. I think that would make a big difference in how people are seeing it.
