This looks good but I shan't get it. Also I agree with the guy earlier in the thread who was saying they're making him too small. Theres no way a 1/6th scale human could fit inside the suit as they are currently making it. For that matter I think the film made him too small aswell - surely the interior of the suit would have to be thickly lined with cushioning or else any impact would be just as fatal to him in the suit as out of it.

Metal-like painting with scratches finishing
I'd love to know if the whole figure has a more metallic finish; it sure looks like it from the pictures, but then the original Mark III has looked far more metallic in certain photos than mine does in person as well. Case in point.
Anyone care to chime in? I'd really love to know if "metal like painting" means the whole figure is more metallic looking than the original release. Probably not, since the original Mark III also lists "metal like painting" in the description.

Hard to tell until we see it in hand. With the original MKIII release, I was content with the finish on the figure from seeing the bevy of in-hand photos, but when I actually received mine I was a bit disappointed. Again, it's hard to tell until we get side-by-side comparisons of the two MKIII figures, which won't be for a while.

However, I will contend that by nature of the "battle damage" effects on this new figure it'll look more realistic and metallic than the previous MKIII figure. The BD MKIII will look better by default, unless HT manages to totally botch the paint job, which I seriously doubt.

The battle damage should help the illusion of a metal-like paint job, yes?

True and agreed. I guess thats where suspension of disbelief comes in. There's no way he could of survived that fall in the desert while in the mark I suit (after he rocket propels himself out of the camp site).

Has anyone in here ever used actionHQ for their stuff? if so, are they ok to use for shipping to the UK?

I noticed this guy is up for pre-order on a few other sites already but he is not on SS yet!!

I believe you're correct; even if he's no more glossier than the original release, the scratches and dents should make it appear more metallic.

I like that this version has extra features, but I don't like that you can't make him look completely un-Damaged (shoulder guards). I have the the other Iron Man Mark III coming, if I'd know about this one first I may have waited and would have been torn. Between the two choices though I think I made the right one.

looks amazing, just bough the mark III but will prob get this also

BD looks so great, but I'm still trying to decide between this one and Mark IV. I'm not quite sure yet but I kinda like Mark III design a little bit more than IV. Anyways I could buy this one and get War machine from the second movie line.

Just pre-ordered from my LCS for $160. ;)
I've Mark I, II, III.. short of the exclusive version... anyone selling it cheap?

It does, until you look at this...

The shoulders look way off and the waist.
