The flag behind him does look better. He's definitely patriotic! :clap

Thanks man! I think with a little more futzing with the flag and Cap it will be a great display.

I think the flag behind him looks great. The only thing I would adjust are his pants; his torso looks a bit long.

I'll try that today. They seem tight as it is, but if there is a way I'll give it a shot :wink1:

Flag looks better as backdrop I think, but that could also be that him stepping on flag bugged me.

It was really intended as stepping on the flag, just as a base, but I know what you mean which is why I decided to change it up :1-1:

Take some pics when you get the chance. I'm eager to see what it looks like. :hi5:

I took these this morning. Sorry for the crappy lighting. It was cloudy and raining all day today...

So, do you think that the Avengers Captain America suit would fit the thin, normal, or muscular new HT body the best? I went with the normal for fear that the muscular would be too big. Won't be home to find out for sure until tonight.

Finished this up this morning... Just waiting on that Asmus training clothes set and I will finally have a body worthy of sticking that Steve head on. :)

Sallah

that looks really good, maybe a few light dirt stains would top them off

Looks good man. Better than I thought it would

Mine was the same, i didn't adjust the pants though, i just shimmied the belt up a bit

I'm not sure if 'shimmied' is a word... Basically i moved the belt up

I shimmied the pants up as much as I could and put the belt a little higher. Looks more movie accurate now.

Ok just a few quick snaps of my bastardized Avengers Captain America. Bought in pieces and parts and put together. I plan on getting a belt with black pouches to go with his black gloves, but other than that he's all together. Finally got a body that works this weekend (HT TTM21 "standard" body).

Will do better photos of him when I have a belt that I like.

And finally, HT Cap in front of Neca Cap.

Something was bugging me about this figure, so I did undress it and I can see it is using a TrueType - Advance Regular Body, with an extra glued chest plate to add volume and muscular arms; arms are very similar to the TTM20 version but with less detail.

Since the arms are muscular, the shoulders are big; I believe the big shoulders are not the best match for this body making this figure look "too stiff" or "shoulder elevated" not sure how to describe it, but the posture looks weird, specially from the neck down to the shoulders and arms.

I have a TTM19 muscular body and I will try to switch arms to see if this improves the posture. Some time little changes can add a more realistic perspective.

I was able to finally replace the original arms with the Hot Toys TrueType Male Body TTM-19 muscular arms, also I used the Red Skull chest pad to add volume, even thou the difference is small, it is an improvement.
