Thanks for the comparison pics! Helps with decisions! I'm disappointed that the 2.0 is SMALLER.

No disrespect to whoever took those pics, but I'll bet 2.0 is not smaller. Its probably a matter of positioning, photo angle, head not pushed all the way down on one, or general posing differences.

I'll believe the specs that list its 12" tall, just like the original. And please don't say anything about the specs being wrong about that stupid black stand.

I have to think they used the same mold for the armor. And unless the used a different body or pegs, it should be the same size.

I am more concerned with the lack of detail than the small size difference and that not just camera angles... I was hoping it would be an improvement from the original and not just a cash grab however the only improvement as the head sculpt.

Well Hot Toys did say that they were making it closer to scale,and this is not just a re make,of course there's going to be differences.the question is which one is more accurate.

I'm kinda jonesing. In August, I got Rescue Cap, Nick Fury, from SSC and Bank Robber Joker and IM2 Black Widow from board members.

I'm expecting Gordon and Mark I 2.0 this month

These give a lot more info on the differences between the two figures and we can clearly see... there are differences.

Just cancelled, I need to know more about the version 2.0 and why it appears to be smaller than the original before I hand over the cash.

The armor pieces are exactly the same size which can only mean the true type body underneath is smaller. IDK if this is more accurate or what (we need a screen grab of the armors lined up), but like I originally speculated the v1 looks a lot more weathered/aged/dirty than v2. And it has that little elbow loop thingie

The missing 'right elbow loop' is a mystery, though, as I'm sure it should be there.

Height compared to the first one won't matter to me. I'm just glad HT decided to remake this so I would have an opportunity to purchase it at retail. C'mon with Blade!!
