Now that I've got him unboxed and assembled, I can safely say this is HT's WORST FIGURE EVER!!!!!!!

J/k :lol
I'm actually very impressed with this figure overall. Mine like most others mine too has the paint issue on his chest and abs. It's not really noticable on his chest but on the abs it is a bit more noticable. Also on his left open mandible, there is a small spot of green, grey where the pink should be. Nothing awefull but it is there. It is still a beautiful figure nonetheless. The joints are stiff and I don't have a hair dryer atm and I don't really want to dip this guy in hot water so I have'nt been able to pose him very much. Hopefully I can borrow a hair dryer later today to loosen up the joints. Now many of you may know I am one of the biggest whiners about the small head and bio on this guy. My opinion on that has not changed but I can say it's not as bad in person. Yes the head and bio could stand to be bigger but I'm over it and this guy looks fantastic reguardless. This it my first HT Pred and I can safely say dispite it's flaws (and there are a few) Berserker is still a fantastic figure and I am very pleased with him. I can also say he will not be leaving my collection anytime soon! I totally reccomend if you can find him at a good price, pick him up. I got him a fpnyc.com for $172 shipped and they still have some left I think. Not a bad price and I even got some free comics aswell.

Whoa! I ordered mine the same day as you from fpnyc as well!! Means mine should be here very sooooooooooooooon :panic: :panic: :panic:

Hey Darth, I got mine at forbidden planet as well. Great customer service - they really packed him up good, didn't they? I wasn't expecting the free comics, either. Nice touch.

Indeed. I was plesently suprized he also came with the brown shipper as I heard at lot of these figures didn't have it. I really hope fpnyc gets Falconer and has him at the same price.

Sweet. fpnyc has great customer service.

Well he showed up this morning and I'm pretty impressed. He’s quite a hefty figure. Although he did have the paint flaws as everyone else is experiencing. The knees weren’t that hard to get moving. I got the hair dryer out took off his head, hands and his feet to make sure I didn’t break anything. Then I tried some muscle on them first and they gave. So didn’t have to go through a lot of trouble to get them moving. Still gotta put the battery in and check the lights but don’t have a screwdriver small enough to open the compartment. So I’ll just have to check it sometime later.

I'm assuming you got the brown outer shipping box as well.
I know where I'm getting mine. Thanks, and DF...damn you had me going there with that big pause after "worst figure ever". :D

Need some help guys. So I obtained a hair dryer to loosen up the joints and there are 3 different heat settings on it, low, medium and high. Which setting should I use and for how long? I don't want to accidently melt my figure.

I'm no expert with a hairdryer, but what I would do is cover up the areas around the joint you are heating up (trying using cardboard). Unless, of course, your dryer has a cone attachment that can focus the hot air onto a more defined area.
Always start on low heat and move up as needed.

Well I got mine from fpnyc today also. The outerbox was crushed up and I was really concerned about the HT box but they packed it pretty well with lots of paper inside to protect the box. Plus like everyone said there were couple of free comics and the predator was in the brown shipper! Opened this beast up and I'm extremely impressed. The only downer has been the paint on the chest but its minimal and doesn't take away from the figure unless you're looking at it really really close. At a viewing distance this displays really well and has a great shelf presence. Pictures will follow over the weekend when I get some time :) Overall I rate this is as a solid 8.5/10 for me.

Sweet. fpnyc has great customer service.

Just wanted to thank you for sharing the fpnyc deal on here. If it wasn't at this price point (159.99 plus shipping) I was going to pass it up. Thanks to you I own my first 1/6 predator and I have an inkling it won't be my last!!

You're only going to be heating up the area for less then a minute. The high setting should be fine. I've been using a Blower dryer on my figures and part for over 10 years and have yet to damage anything.

No prob but your thanks should go to tcollector. He's the one that alerted me to the fpnyc sale.
