They're offering them as a set.
So does that mean the foot soldier won't be a solo offering?

Looks great but I hope it's not an expensive set.

They were like red shirts in the movie so I'll have to pass. Don't have any Avengers figures either except for Tony and Cap. Nice detailing though.

These will look awesome posed with Cap. Glad they made so many weapons, two different helmets, and unmasked portraits. You could really have a shelf full of Chitauri and have them all look different from one another.

If likeness rights are the instigator of the high prices, then these should be a lot cheaper then the human characters. Not saying they will, but if they do, then it will give credence to the theory.

I think if they would have released these for pre order same time as other Avengers I would hve bought them immediately. Now, strangely, I don't care about them as much and am going to pass. I'm glad they made two for you army builders, though.

For a fully sculpted figure with no real chance of reusing parts, $200 isn't too bad.

In theory the set would be very nice to pose with my Widow or Mark VII, but I have no money left for hobbies for this year or next (yes, already spent that money). So, no Chitauri for me...
