Re: Hot Toys MMS Iron Man Mark XXI-MIDAS

Where's that from?

Why? Why would you do that?

I'm not 100% sure, but Hologram AI posted it. I think he may have gotten it from one of the Asian cons. :dunno

Someone who went to one of the cons picked the figure up. That's just MIDAS on display in his house.

Re: Hot Toys MMS Iron Man Mark XXI-MIDAS

Have to agree with this. Movie could have had 20 less armors, and been the better for it.

Lazy by HT, sure is! But also smart. Reusing assets and milking some more $$$ out of the "die-hards". Just slap a "limited edition exclusive" figure on it, and Pavlovs dogs go nuts....

I've seen these sell for close to $1K on the bay. Insanity.

I just watched the special features in IM3, thinking they would be full of info on all the armors, but there is not one bit. There's an Agent Carter mini movie and a behind the scenes Thor 2, but the closest thing on the armors was the part were the guys in the movie were like "yeah it was hard to come up with individual armors" so we came up with creative ways to make them unique, sadly though some were just repaints. I am sure there is going to be a super special edition full of info though six months from now watch.

Re: Hot Toys MMS Iron Man Mark XXI-MIDAS

Of course there will be a super special edition in a few months. The first version of a DVD/BD release is always pretty bare bones, just the movie and a few extras, since they rush the release. That's standard practice.
