That is the best scaled bike for the figure. Sadly, while the New Brite works, it is more like 1/5 scale and a bit too big.

I mean the Alclad paint for the last side mirror. I don't know what happened but it came out with some weird spots. It had to be stripped off for repaint.

Ouh, got it.
I build a model too a few months ago and when I saw how the layer of laquer turned out, brushed not sprayed, I wished I would´ve started with airbrush.
It was a model of an european truck, andI got all the little details of the interior, even got custom decals fully chroms, very true to he orignal and the laquer turned out like this.
What a pity...

I had to invest in an airbrush and a compressor for this project. If you're painting anything of any real size, you have to use an airbrush IMO. Otherwise you see the brushstroke lines and streaks using a regular brush. Thankfully, I've gotten other uses out of that airbrush.

Sounds great, ali.
And if I´m doing something like that again I´ll switch to airbrush also.
Did you get the desired effect on your mirror in the meantime?

I haven't done it yet. My first priority today was getting the bike and figure off the kitchen table before an accident happens. I had to do some rearranging on the shelves which ate up most of the morning.

oh really??
I have seen on TV that the secret to Hollywood quality makeup is airbrushing :D

Shame falconer cant lift a t-800 endoskeleton 1 handed

Thanks very much. I can't remember, but I think another manufacturer makes a 1/6 Harley Fatboy too. It's more accurate than the 2 bikes you posted.

I did some more work and the only thing left to do is the right side mirror. Paint came out bad. He fits on the bike pretty well, but you can't get him to put his feet on the foot rests.

That bike looks seriously cool. Great job!

Whoa, perfect imo.
Hope HT also makes it that way...

For me I alwaly assocated the final BD Terminator with ripped in half arm.

I like the NECA classafacation:

Pescardero
Cyberdyne/cyberdyne damaged
Steel Mill
Battle Damaged (full batle damage)

My personal favorite is Steel Mill when he is in serach mode with the M-79 and pistol and he's hunting the T-1000.

Again, I can't understand how Hot Toys has yet to make (or announce) a battle damaged T-800 from the final scenes of Terminator 2.
