I think I like it but I'm not sure yet... If it is a precursor to a diecast version (like the mk3 construction was) then it's looking good as the chest into abs section is more accurate now.

I would just wait and see how things proceed. Only a very small amount of teased prototypes never make production. Like 1%.

Now that's a piece that needs to come with a rotating stand and a one button light up feature. One flick of a switch and it should just all turn on!

Agreed. This will be a static display piece from their Diorama Series like the Mk III Construction. Price should be reflective of that. (I hope)

Except for hands it seems, that's an odd decision.

I also wonder if the lower legs open up.. If I bought this, I'd probably want to display it with tony having one foot in and walking into it.

It won't just be totally static. The license won't allow for that. They don't have the 1/6 statue rights(and yes, there is a difference). It will be like the power pose and the mentioned mk3 const. Very limited articulation, but it will have some. Otherwise they can't make it.
