It's the Lars' homestead power droid from ANH. Like the previous post said, it can be seen when Luke's aunt is calling up to him. The one in TFA is closer to the one in the sandcrawler, only it had a tall stove pipe coming out the top. There was also one at the resistance base that looked like the power droid from hoth base.

I think HT may have picked this version because of all the extra details. If they had done the sandcrawler version it would have been hard to justify charging over $100 for a black box with two legs.

I really like the colour scheme on this one. Its like R5... It screams the 70's .
