HOT TOYS - DX15 - Batman Returns KEATON BATMAN

Personally, I'm only keeping one version of each character and I'm not buying anyone that doesn't show up in the Avenger film. This causes me to miss out on individual villains but I need to keep some sort of standard. The good thing about waiting for the avengers figures is that sometimes I prefer the older design (Thor:TDW, Black Widow: TWS) and they get cheaper. It's going to pain me to pass on the Civil War Spidey unless the character dies (doubt it). Also, passing on Ant-man, Dr. Strange, etc. It's impossible to keep up. I'm actually a DC fan but I'm not getting any figures from SvB either. I'll wait for the Justice League movie.

If Suicide Squad does well however, there are some great characters there that i'd want to pick up... you can almost guarantee HT will do a version of Leto's Joker.

Hot Toys loves a Joker –though not sure why they did the Nicholson Mime version... I would have rather they'd put the extra 'I'm melting' headsculpt in with the main version and left it at that!
I think Leto's Joker and Margo Robbie as Harley are pretty much certs!

I remember how excited all of us were when the first pics of the proto were taken by Biojex. Non- stop excitement. Hell, I was happy as ****. Seriously. There was nothing I could think of besides this figure while I was at work.

Why do this, HT? Seriously? Why even bring a proto to a Con you have zero intentions to release? Licenses my ass.

I don't care about this figure anymore. Not as much anyway.

I vividly recall that. So many elated freaks, some even stating that HT had finally redeemed themselves by the
Unveiling. In hindsight I guess it was a bit premature as it may possibly suffer the same fate that X-Men FC: Professor X suffered. Hopefully I'm wrong as it's by far my favorite cinematic batman suit to date.

Haha, unfortunately it seems everyone does.. And if they don't Hot Toys will keep making them until they do!

Yeah we know there are a lot of Marvel movies slated - that's not the point cr0w was making.
Let's face it, how many of us can afford multiple Hot Toys figures a year? From that list you can easily see another 4 Captain America figures at least – well at current prices I think consumers are gonna have to pick and choose the figures they buy carefully.
It's great for Marvel fans that they have a great choice of figures to put together their Avengers team, but Hot Toys could saturate the market to an extent that the releases will start to see a steady decrease in sales with only newer characters like Ant Man or Black Panther selling large quantities. Hot Toys will likely then 'up' the price of figures with a more limited number made, to avoid losses - hiking prices anymore will likely hammer a nail into the collectable 1/6th market.
As a DC fan I hope this doesn't happen until after we see the movie Justice League figures released.

Right. What I meant was when the Marvel demand is done, what will HT have left? They're getting to the point where they're pigeonholing themselves, and once people stop buying multiple versions of the same character, they won't have anything else left to offer.

I'm sure they're going to go nuts with Suicide Squad and the other DC movies, at least I hope so, but that really all depends on how well the movies themselves do. Personally, though, I'll never own a ****ing Jared Leto figure, I don't care how cool it looks. I hate the man.

So.... if the specs were actually in, I'd at least consider getting this figure. Great suit - although the 89 suit will always be my fave.

Seems old 92 Keatonman has gone the way of the Prometheus-s..
