I live in California, so I'd have to pay taxes. Also I don't like the fact that they just slap a shipping label on the brown Hot Toys shipper box.

Whose Cain? The robot in the box or the green hologram? It's been yrs since I've seen the movie.
Here is Cain, proudly made in America, Detroit city.

I ordered Robocop and ED209 in a heart beat.

+1 on that. I live in CA too and its nuts that SS ships in the brown shipper. On top of that, they charge $10 extra if you want double boxed safety.

I just got my 1/4 Endo from BBTS and its double boxed by default and they packed it with some heavy duty bubble wrap I have never seen before. :)

Would LOVE to see that in 1/6 with Hot Toys work at it. :thud:

What company made this figure? Looks great.

Man, they can say what they want to say about 80's fashion, but 80's was a great decade in the entertainment field -- from music, to movies and animation (particularly in Sci-Fi genre). Everything is ahead of its time, making them all still relevant today as they came out then. Terminator, Predator, and RoboCop designs are all timeless. I am also reminded of Robot Jox whenever I see Pacific Rim. Good Times.

Also, with the crap Sideshow is pulling with their markups and stopping other retailers from selling at a lower price, I'd much rather support Alter Ego or BBTS.

So wrong. Why didn't they just do a DX in the first place? Ugh. Spent reward points ordering the MMS. This is a sure fire way to irritate your fans.

This should stop the speculations about Peter Weller's likeness rights. Like I said, we don't know what happens behind HT's closed doors.

Anyway, it's our choice whether to support their milking of a certain license or not. This is in fact risky for HT itself, sort of cannibalizing the market by releasing an early backstage photo of the Alex Murphy sculpt. Given its price I don't think many could afford to wait for this without having to cancel their orders of the other version, while some of those who still haven't POd and can afford just one might end up just choosing this Alex Murphy reveal version.

Those who didn't hurry to order from SSC saying that there's no need to because there's no EX anyway have done a smart move.
