Sooner than I expected, here are some pics of my 'enhanced' battle damaged Mark VI. Since I have two Mark VI's, I decided to make each a permanent represention of a new and a worn out suit.

After much debate (with myself :wink1: ), I decided to put a little bit more damage to this Mark VI, closely mimicking the small oil spills and blast marks from the scene in the movie. I'm happy that my scale modelling skills are still kicking after all these years hehe...

I called this one "Pepper?!!!" (I'm sure you'll figure out why).

Hot Toys has certainly pushed the envelope in developing 1/6 scale figures. I look at some of my collection from 4-5 years ago and it is fun to look at the advancement and progress that has been made. It is a great time to be collecting these right now. Expensive though.

Just testing is I can finally upload pics...:)

:yess:

I guess this will do for now until my account is allowed to post links from imageshack. :)

Anyway, this is my Battle Damaged Mark VI which I modded to put a little more damage to the suit. Thank goodness I still have a bit of my scale modelling skills hehehe...Oh, and I call this "Pepper?!!!" (I'm sure you can figure that out.)

For those who are about to say "no...now you can't have a prestine version.", please know that I have another Mark VI on display untouched.

Didn't want to go crazy on the additional damage but I tried to depict the oil spilled, blast damaged suit in the movie.

Can't wait to post pics of the rest of my Iron Man collection soon. :)

I was messing around with my Mark VI I just got recently and noticed the non BD chest piece when placed on his chest is a little loose. Does anyone know a way I can fix this? The BD chest piece seems to stay on him pretty well. So if anyone knows of any fixes I would sure appreciate it.

Thanks! There are some great photos in this thread, and others here on the board. I'm kinda lazy when it comes to getting some of the more dynamic poses. You guys have a lot of patience! Plus I'm still getting used to the idea of pushing/pulling on such an expensive "toy." These are my first two Hot Toys figures and I'm terrified of breaking anything. I've got the new Batman figure and the Classic Predator on pre-order though. And maybe a second-hand T-600. People have mentioned the Hot Toys "Addiction." That ain't no joke!
:lol

There are probably better and more permanent fixes for this, but have you thought about candle stays? Those little gobs of clear wax that are meant to keep candlesticks upright. A tiny little dab of that stuff can help with loose joints. And it can be cleaned off with a tiny bit of isopropyl alcohol and a cotton swab.
