Thanks for the advice... I did consider that at one point as there are loose Tony faces on ebay meant to go inside a helmet, that I think are from the MK33 Silver Centurion, for cheap. But wasn't sure if I had the skills, and it's a battle damaged face, so I just patiently waited till I found a MK6 head. $22 was a great price I won it for, and with $6 for the mask still cheaper than going the route of trying to make my own version.

Of course. My main problem is that the older helmeted sculpts don't have quite the likeness of the recent unhelmeted sculpts. If you have a dremel and a light up helmet from any mark, even one that doesn't come with a helmeted head(Or the workshop one as they are cheap), it's easy enough to remove enough material to fit a face in there. It's just about whittling the face down till it fits.
Here are some i did. MKII AU with a Workshop head in there, Midas, a Workshop helmet hollowed out, etc(And using the mechanic BD headsculpt):

So, I got the loose mask from the MMS191 Tony Stark figure for my Tony in helmet MKVI. It doesn't line up perfectly so I would't be able to add magnets and have it fit over his face. A little gap at top where red center meets. So I just tacked it on as I figured. The head just doesn't look right without the mask on top. So overall happy as it looks great on the MKVII...

For those that own this and bother to read this post, as you can see above last May I bought a MKVI Stark head for my MKVII without a mask, and it fit's perfect and looks great. Please read the last post above, which oddly was mine. I just bought a BD damaged MKVI face plate from ebay for a few bucks, and It doesn't fit?? It has the magnets on top and metal on bottom. From all pics I've seen and looked at it is legit, as is the Stark head, so why doesn't it fit and cover the face. It has the same problem I said as above with the other face mask where the red part on the helmet leaves a small gap with the face mask... Any ideas?? Thanks to anyone that responds.

Edit : It seem's I have answered my own question. After looking at more pics, it appears I have a MKIIIDC Stark head. The auction was wrong. The face doesn't have the cut & blood on his face in the corner under his eye like the MKVI does. I never even noticed. :lol

No wonder it looked so good... The newer MKIIIDC Stark head looked far better than the old MKVI, but was like $60 - $75. And I prefer no facial damage. I won this for $20, so still a win in my book. Guess I'll keep searching for an actual matching faceplate, but for now they look fine sitting on top of the head.....

If anyone has a MKIIIDC face mask they don't need please PM me and let me know...

Interesting that it's getting a re-release...
It was a promotional release that initially was only available in the Shanghai store. For a long time eBay was the only source for people elsewhere. I noticed it on Sideshow’s site a few months ago, so it’s availability hasn’t been heavily advertised. Maybe they’re getting a few after selling out the DC version? I’m assuming that’s sold out.

I just want ahead and ordered this as it was in stock at popcultcha. I figured I just go ahead and get this one as the diecast windows for way too much money now. I have no idea if this one suffers from the pink panties issue or not. It be nice to think that they would’ve fixed it since the first issue but you never now. I figure worst-case this will look good in the hall of armor I have on preorder. Only thing that stinks is it’s a little shorter than the diecast mark IV I have.
