I feel like I should know the reason....but not sure why he turned around back onto the boat when he hear tyrin was dead. I would imagine that's the time he wants to be at kings landing the most to grab power, is it because he fear Jaime or cersi will kill him?

I would imagine Jamie would have let him slide. Hell, that sets all the cards in his/Cearsy's favors. Tyrion managed to aid his brother and sister, and helping himself all with one decision.

Edit: I take that back. Jamie would have pinned everything on him including Jeofrys death, so Tyrion looked innocent.

Yeah me too, it's my lease favorite story arc, every time it came up I secretly wished George Martin would pull a fast one and kill off the entire group ending the whole thing so we can focus on the other streams

Have faith in the man who created this amazing story, I am sure there is a great deal of importance riding on Bran's Journey.

Loved everything about this episode except for two things...

Jojen didn't die in the books, at least not that I remember and I also thought the Seer in the Weirwood was handled wrong, in the books he had become one with the tree itself, roots and vines actually growing through his body.

What a great show though, It's gonna be a hard slog til next April.

Here are my thoughts....

I'm gonna try and cover what I thought about the finale, in no order. First off, I love how little by little they are showing what a bonehead Danny is. I just don't like her at all...although late, I thought the Stannis entered the north scene was great. Mance and Turrmond Giantsbane are cool characters so I'm glad they were a bit more fleshed out and not killed....AND they named Mag the Mighty by name. To mag!
The bran storyline....I thought the children of the forest were done perfect and also liked the 3 eyed raven but why did they have to kill Jojen? I don't get it, maybe I'm missing something but it serves no purpose at all......I can deal with Grenn and Pyp dying but this was just ****. The Tryion stuff was great. I actually liked that they went away from the books with jamie confessing what he did to Tryion., call me an ol softy but I liked the fact that left on good terms. Also him killed shae and Tywin, both great, I'll miss Tywin, shae not so much. Short Mountain scene was cool, not much else to add, but I'm glad we saw Gregor again....and last but not least , my main fair was they were going to kill The Hound off just to make things simpler going forward as they seem to be doing that, but I'm glad Arya like in the books does not grant him mercy....yep Spoiler alert. Sandor lives on.....and with that said another stellar season, is it next year yet?

What a finale, what a season, I loved everything about it.

I don't hate Bran's story and I like Daenerys.

I don't care what it says in the books, I like the show more than the books so far, and I'm almost sure it will remain that way (currently reading them).

One of the best episodes of the entire series for me.

Brienne being presented to Lady Stoneheart would've been the ultimate, jaw-dropping season finale. Slightly disappointed they didn't go that route!

Spoiler:

Brienne does not meet up with her until the end of book 4 though... The last we saw she was being hanged by Stoneheart and Brienne yelled out a "word"... we still do not know what that word was but we know that she lives because she briefly appears with Jamie in book 5. At the end of book 3 when we first meet Stoneheart she has captured and hangs a couple Frey boys... This would have been an awesome way to end the season but I totally understand that they need as much material as possible next season.

I know, it was crazy, there was no telling who would win, she is such a badass, there was no win for me either in this one, whatever the result, although

The hound was my 3rd favorite character just after Arya, they were such a good couple so I think I'm a little sadder with this result
