Brilliant idea using the EFFEKTIV unit.

This is the closest I could find to what you have pictured: https://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/S19831093/

Do you have a direct link to the actual product?

Thanks Maglor. Here is the info:

Base, I can't find the one with metal legs. Not sure if they are getting rid of them. But you can use this one:

Thanks for the links. I'm not looking to raise them at this time, but I may in the future, and this is a great solution for anyone looking to do it. :duff

Great ideas in this thread. I'm going to be picking up a few Detolfs and have already thought that the bottom shelves would not be easily seen. I like the idea of something with a drawer for storage. Great for putting the boxes for my GG busts.

Anyone have ideas on other Ikea products that could be used to raise the Detolfs above the ground? I'm not really a handyman, so just want a standard Ikea product that could be used to raise the Detolf sau 20cm or so (8 or 9 inches). I've looked through the Ikea website, but hard to search for these things......

I used this when I raised my deltolfs. it holds 4 of them no problem.

Yeah, I was looking at that exact Expedit unit! I have 4 Detolfs, but problem is that I want them two on each side of another central cabinet (see attached photo).

If I put all four of them together, I dont know where to put the central cabinet. I think it looks better centralised like that, otherwise it would just be sitting off to one side of 4 detolfs.

So I need to find a unit of some sort that can hold just two detolfs.......

This is my version to elevate my detolfs!

Now that is exactly the kind of thing I am looking for!! :hi5:

Where did you get it? Is that an Ikea item, or some custom, or some other store altogether? I just prefer Ikea cos it's common and we have a local store. Please let me know! Thanks!

I finally got around to doing mine a few months ago, I had a custom cabinet built with 4 storage compartments and it's long enough to hold 3 detolfs on top. They are raised about 15" off the ground, so now I'm finally able to see the bottom shelf :hi5::yess:

:clap:clap I really like that , great idea , the neglected bottom shelf figures finally get some love :lol

I'd also gladly have something to raise my detolf around 20-30 cm.. I even thought of just using several pieces of wood glued together into one massive block, is this a bad idea?

This thread is a life saver, as I've been trying to find something sturdy and appealing to elevate detolfs around my home. Thanks all :)

IKEA UPPER kitchen cabinet of a comparable width - plus a complimentary door + hinges and side cover panels. Look in the AS-IS section before hitting the warehouse aisles.

Instead of a block why not make a box? Use 3/4 MDF or particle board and it will be plenty strong and cheap. It's much more difficult to make a nice looking block if you don't have much experience than it is a box.

Hmyeah, I just got no experience at all and am REALLY afraid it won't hold the weight since lifting a detolf by yourself really rubs in how heavy it is XD
