Thanks , I collect for fun more then to shoot anymore , but its still fun going out and blasting some clay pigeons now and then !

Just purchased my first gun yesterday. Handled quite a few and ended up with an HK45. Get to pick it up on Thursday. Going to do a lot of shooting this weekend :)

that's a smooth piece! let us know how it shoots. unfortunately we can't get that one in CA. i'm going to get this one.

I never started collecting guns. I think I saw them as having no higher function than tools designed to end life or cause grief, couldn't get myself to idolize them after that no matter how cool they looked

Bah... You could make the same argument for 90% of the collectibles on this board - almost all of them revolve around conflict/violence.

As for me, I have to admit, there are times when I wished I lived in the United States.

Every time I open this thread is one of those times!

Glad to see a thread like this....
I have
Mossberg model 88
PA-63
and I just inherited from my father a Ruger super blackhawk.....which feels heavier than the other two combined
Do they make tactical grips for my Ruger?

What does something like that go for??

Im curious as to the process you have to go through to obtain one also.

I think I paid $850 for mine but then all I did was walk into the gun store ,tell them which handgun I wanted and since I was still in their system from purchasing from them before they made a phone call I filled out some papers and walked out with it.

800$!!! holy crap

Now what happens if you lose that gun, your responsible for it right?

Do they ever randomly check if you still have it??
