Got mine today. Liking it. Now I need to trawl through the parts box stuffed in the back of my cupboard for a book. I really think he should have come with a book as standard, even if it was a rehash of the vamp book.

Here's some pictures of mine.
Head--without glasses. Nice ASH portrait. Paint ap was pretty heavy on the fleshtones, hiding some of the wrinkles. Hair's a touch too dark. Mine came with quite a bit of slop on the hairline and eyebrows so I'll be doing some touch-up work, including lightening his hair just a little bit.
Head--with glasses. Nice fit on the glasses. The ear pieces are curved so they wrap around his head, making them fit securely.
There are more pics including a closeup of the glasses, Gachnar (fantastic, quirky little extra), the extra hands, and suit at my quickie review page.
There are little nitpicky things that I think would make him a great rather than good figure--nix the silver thread on his suit, mix the left/right extra hand sculpt, include a couple of books, lighter touch with the paint. But those are little things, and I'm still happy with him.

Painslop aside on the hair and eyebrows this figure is spot on! Definitely needs a repaint to be perfect!
P.S. Those have to be some of the best looking glasses I ever seen for a 1/6 figure.

So far, this is one of the best of the recent Buffy figures IMHO. His hair paint is not that noticeably off and the light thread used on the suit is not that noticeable either, but I agree, sideshow needs to get better matching thread. The recent brosnan bond had a horrible mismatched thread problem that made me immediately hate the figure, but Giles wasn't so bad. Get this figure! It looks great and I love the glasses.

I am still tossing up whether to order the Giles figure - it certainly looks very well made. There is no sign of him at my local Sideshow product retailer yet. But then again, I am still waiting for my Blue-suit Lorne figure to be shipped, so I am probably in for a long wait in either case.

It's never enough, especially for those who are still waiting for him, like me!I hate to rub salt in your wounds, but I got my Giles today! Yay!
He's wonderful. I have to say I think he's definitely on of the best in the bunch, and I don't know if it's just me, or I think that the molding and casting of this piece is of a better standard then we've seen up till now. There doesn't appear to be the same kind of distortions on this as we've seen on the other characters in this series.

Loving how Giles came out. SS seems to have done great justice to the last buffy figure (for now ) Was watching Buffy today as I tend to do, and a sea of sadness swept me over.

Got to admit i am far more impressed than I thought I'd be. The light stitching and poor pocket flaps are my only nit-picks. Excellent figure...pity it's the last!
