I personally would pick it over the original. I think Derek Meres played the best Jason yet. He's not just an oaf walking around the woods. I know he ran in a few of the originals but not like this IMO Jason radiates rage in this one. You just see him standing there and he gives off the vibe of being pissed off. I loved the originals so much so it's good to say that I even like the remake.
