I find myself wanting to buy this figure even though I have little interest in Mr. Bean and the tv show. I've only seen the movies. Anyway, great review, Wookster.

I have seen Johny English, and I think it'd be pretty easy to do kitbash using the Enterbay sculpt.

Nice review, as always. Nice figure too.

I didn't see you mention that, due to the block in the head getting in the way of the eyeball positioning arms, you can't position the eyeballs to look up. A serious flaw really, as far as eyeball rotation systems are concerned. :lol

I'm not a fan of the character, but that looks like a great figure. Love the eye position series - it's a great feature for this guy.

This figure looks awesome! I couldn't help laughing at most of the pics in your review, especially the one where Bean is climbing out of his box.:rotfl:lol

I've been debating whether or not to get this one but after your review I'll be picking him up. Great job on that by the way. Love the pics.

Since the eyes move independently are they difficult to position the same? I'd imagine it'd be easy to get one slightly off from the other.

If its anything like the Lee figures getting the eyes to line up is not a problem at all... and its really pretty fun to have the option.

Great review Wookster, not a figure I'd buy, but another awesome work from Enterbay :rock

I actually didn't notice that at all, but as you say a bit of an oversight!

And in answer to samueljd I got the chair in a local charity shop I walk past on my way to work, I got the Chaise Longue (which is a small jewelery box) in these reviews from the same place.

The chair is actually one of those tacky mobile phone holders, so theres a hole in the seat to stick your phone in. But with a little modding it makes a cool prop. I'm always on the look out for props, but sadly very few turn up!

EDIT

Forgot to say, the eyes are easy to position in the same direction, I had no trouble at all.

Great pictures top off your already good review. Very funny.
If it wasn't for the Predator coming out, I'd really contemplate purchasing this.

That's a hell of a decision, Mr Bean... The Predator... Mr Beanator... The Pred... The Bean... Mr Predator, whatever!

Damn, this is a great looking figure. The nearby Toys R' Us is selling this for about $20 less, all I have to do is cross the street to buy it. I hope there is enough interest in this figure or there are enough people who bought it so we could start a picture thread so I could see more in-hand reviews.
