Does white outfits make sense for ninjas? + My Samurai/Ninja Collection

I'd love to get the new Sideshow's and Hot Toys' Storm Shadow, but white doesn't make sense for a ninja outfit. www.Timewalkertoys.com has the Hot Toys version for ~$150 on sale. I need some convincing ...

Ok ok. You guys convinced me, I might get the Hot Toys or Sideshow Storm Shadow. Yeah I grew up watching American Ninja and GI-Joe. White is most definitely awesome, and as Kicksplode mentioned, I shouldn't be looking at GI-Joe for realism. It's just that the Hot Toys+Sideshow Storm Shadow looks so cool, I'd think they'd look cool also with darker colors.

I recently watched American Ninja on Netflix thinking that it'd be horrible. It is awesomely horrible! As bad as the acting is, the uniform still is bad ass especially the Sensei's outfit with a red bottom (hakama) and the traditional ninja top.
