SOLD![/QUOTE]

Is it the angle of the photo or is she really that much larger than the QOTD statue? She looks huge!

My only problem are the harvested souls. Like with the little demons by the Queen of the Dead, I hope the harvested souls are removeable as I doubt I'll keep them on display.

I LOVE the souls, they seem to give the siren a nice tale as you go from top to bottom. It shows how dangerous/brutal she is below the surface of the water.

Those captured souls/sailors on her tail are proportionate to her size.

The sculptor said over on Statue forum that if she had legs she would be around 10 foot tall, i guess she is supposed to be about the size of Neytiri from Avatar.

Which sadly means a bump in price guessing 430-460.

I guess that tail definitely gives her some added length over legs. Still, I wonder why they made her to be much larger than an average human in scale. Maybe so she can be seen from farther away by ships and more easily lure sailors to their deaths?

If this sells for under $500 I will be shocked. Love to get her, but it might mean Ramon noodles for a year.

You know they have different Flavors these days my Friend :lol:lol:lol

I think it's their song/voices that initially lure the sailors, just monstrous in size as well as nature.

This is what I'm talking about! QOTD is awesome.... but I passed on her. This is up there will the ARH Medus imo.

Monsterous babes will be an awesome display. I wonder what else they could do.

If I order this PF - which I will, as long as the price is not horrendous - those dead bodies are out of there at warp speed. BOOM, gone.

Really, really wish SSC offered some of this stuff in KIT form, that way we could build to our specifications and paint as desired. I remember building Fewture's Alien warrior kit from Alien: Resurrection, I sanded off one of Ripley's more disgusting clones on the base, and sculpted an appropriate shape over the spot. Still have no regrets about it.

I miss Fewture lots. They had the best sculptors.

Someone else: This is up there will the ARH Medus imo.

Bosh, my dear boy. This sculpt is head and shoulders above Medusa..... literally. :wink1:
