The radio edit is already out there, the full one which clocks at around 6 minutes will release at midnight.

Here's the radio edit:

the Web Sheriff is taking all of these down though, I guess that proves it's realness.

What's weird with them is, I must have just missed when they blew the hell up.

I got into them as a result of watching AMP on MTV at like 2AM, when they'd play Around the World and Sexy Boy every episode. So I got Homework, loved it, and continued on with them. I tend to pick and choose artists in this genre, and don't pay attention to the scene itself, so that may be why I was blindsided a bit by Daftmania.

I know One More Time was huge, and Discovery was popular, and they were in a Gap commercial. Then it almost seemed like they were trying to drive away the masses with Human After All (which is actually my favorite album of theirs).

But even when Discovery was all over, they weren't like this. The hype for RAM has been unreal, and even as a huge fan, I'd almost say ridiculous.

That said, hell yes I am pumped. I'm going to be white guy wilding out like that Dutch DJ.

I actually listened to that live while in the car, he's called Michiel Veenstra and it was pretty darn great rocking that song TWICE in the car at full volume. haha.

Watching him listen made the first listen even better. It just starts off as some typical head bobbing, and just slowly degenerates into full on wailing around. His excitement made me more excited.

Also, so I assume you know what he was saying in the introduction? The gist I got was "generic introduction to a premiere... oh who am I kidding, it's ****ing brand new Daft Punk - listen to it!"

He's roughly saying that he listened to the "radio edit" and is convinced it's not a loop or fan mix and is pretty sure it's the real deal and that it's a premiere of the song on their radio station (3FM). Then at the end of the song he's absolutely convinced it's not a fan mix but real and says it's called "Get Lucky" of Daft Punk and is pretty sure it's going to be a summer hit. Then some random traffic news of the day and he just plays it again because it's "world news" and people need to hear it again. He said in the comments of that video that they "got called by the record company about where they got the track."

People are saying it's a fake but I don't think so, I think it's not the FULL song, the full song is 6 minutes. This one ends at 4 minutes so there's some extra stuff not included. It's going to be really embarrassing for the people that think it's fake because it "sounds off and weird" when it's actually the real thing. Wanna bet that when they find out it's actually real it's suddenly NOT weird sounding anymore but is the best thing in the world? All of these "fake" radio edits of the song are all being taken down on youtube yet all the other fan mixes aren't. I'm 90% sure the "radio edit" is a shortened version of the full song, people are setting themselves up for a disappointment.

Yeah, this one sounds like the real deal, especially compared to some of the other fan versions I heard.

I guess we'll find out tonight.

Haha, so yeah the track was LEGIT. And I love it! Quite embarrassing for all those people saying it sounded off and was a fake fan mix.

I am not a fan of Pharrel Williams or anything, but I love the singing. It is really really nice.

I like him in early NERD, though I wasn't as into their later stuff. I wasn't even really a fan of Hypnotize You that he did with Daft.

The first time I heard the leak at Coachella, I was "eh" on him. I thought it was a bit gimmicky. But now I'm loving it.

I want three mixes: radio edit, album version with more vocoder breakdown, and a Pharrell-less version - either instrumental or just vocoder.

I heard the instrumental version on youtube yesterday. It didn't have the singing in it.
