Primer coat..

White (light coat)

Broke out my paints..

I start with the Pebble color

hit a few areas with "river rock" to add a light layer of weathering (probably not very noticeable.. these colors are all pretty close)

and add a mist of light aircraft gray from the front (again.. light weathering)

Tomorrow, the weathering in earnest begins.. rust, oil, and "water" stains will be added.

Thanks guys.. re. Lights: I actually started out customizing on Starshipmodeler so lighting it wouldn't be an issue.. except for the location. I took a couple of pics to explain (they also show how far off my scale is LOL

I finished weathering and sealing up the second Base..

So the hard bit is out of the way. Just need to wait til Friday and then I can ship it over to Lopie.
