Sorry if that was confusing but we had to slow down the flow on those orders to make sure we could fill them all correctly. Apparently the news of the sale made it to some sideshow collectors bulletin boards and we just got slammed with orders.

There's nothing I love more than a prompt response from an internet seller. These guys have just made a loyal customer out of me. Awesome.

I'm not worried--if I don't get one or two it wouldn't be the end of the world. Plus, my order for an OHMSS Bond went through--Boot's was in his cart, but then it wasn't available when he checked out. That would lead me to believe that they were well aware of how many they had.

I got ahold of them. I inquired about the whole "permanent hold" thing and got a response within a half and hour (and this was after business hours)! Once again, this is what I was told...

The guy was really cool about it and assured me that our orders are just being held up so they can make sure everything is properly packed and shipped.

"order on permanent hold" = "no (immediate, at least) cause for alarm"

I got my invoice today too (and was feeling pretty good about it), but I guess we're not in the clear just yet. I guess it's time for me to cross those fingers after all.

Ya know, it's kinda funny. I think it's safe to assume that most of us ordered figures from Boyd that we never really cared enough to buy before, even though they've been readily available for years, yet here we are "worried" about whether or not we'll actually get them.

We truly are Sideshow Freaks.
