I think for a story they simply have an intern watch the movies and jot down any 'question' that sticks out from backstory.

Why didn't he use disintegration in ROTJ? Is it not a weapon, or is it like Mr. White in Breaking Bad disintegrating bodies with acid to get rid of them?

Maybe its a setting... Doesn't Marvin the Martian's gun have a setting called "disintegration"?

Come to think of it, he's the original Boba Fett.

Fett certainly became Marvin in his "demise".

Since he's introduced with the line "and no disintegrations" it would have been more fitting if he was disintegrated in the end.

I would rather see a Darth Plagueis, Darth Bane, Darth Revan Darth Malak (are they even cannon anymore?) movie than one about Fett... and I loved Fett as a character.

Given what we've lived through in the past few years SW-wise, I'd call that a beautiful trainwreck with a toe-tapping Bollywood musical number playing on top of it.
