even if the body of the figure is not visible, I think it's just for the realism of the statue (like the rubber skin and realistic chest of the T-800 Enterbay, for exemple)

i saw the website these pics above were posted.I don't want to start rumours,but a guy on facebook posted a link to the website and saying Butkus will be included.

Man and I thought I was almost done with this hobby.
I would have resisted a boxer Rocky.

I never thought there would be a street clothes Rocky ....that's a holy grail wish list item for me.

So this must be the first piece in their 'Superb Scale' line I wondered about not long ago on the Bruce Lee thread. Nice.

It's only natural they would have chosen the street clothes, since that's the only way they could hide the seam between the body and the PVC head sculpt. That gives me hope about a First Blood statue.

There's something that's bugging me, though - that Itakon article mentions the statue will have "a certain degree of articulation" (una statua dotata di una certa articolabilità).

Oh, and apparently Butkus will definitely be included.

Certain amount of articulation is a good thing !

Its the next stage I was hoping Blitzway would go to.

If its fully clothed and you don't ruin the look, why not have it move a little.

Bruce is locked in a weapons pose but with just the slight ability to move the shoulders a little and another set of attachable forearms you could have had him in a fighting pose with fists.

....although they may just mean the Rocky statue will have multiple arms like the Bruce statue.....

Certain amount of articulation is a good thing !

I'm OK with that as long as the anatomy is not affected in the slightest, which is my main beef with action figures. The shoulders should always be left alone in my opinion. I'm all for swappable arms, though.

How unexpected. I'd much prefer the goon version of Rocky from the first film in the leather jacket and hat in 1/6.

Only Rocky stuff I got in my collection is the Schomberg studios cast bronze statue. I've always wanted to add a nice high quality piece to the collection, unfortunately no one has made anything and the HCG stuff is total garbage.

If this looks anywhere near as good as Bruce Lee I'll be all over this.
