Beautiful! Even though I own this, that picture makes me jealous. The first time I saw this beauty, as I opened the box, my jaw dropped. It gave me a rare feeling like my wedding day and the births of my children. Congratulations!

He?s right, once you see how big the box and how huge it is in person nothing else compares to this! Still Mind blowing to say the least!

Congrats!
First you discover the box and you asked yourself how could it fit in your car and then you open the box and it is so huge! Unbelievable. I was so amazed! It was Christmas time.

As long as you’re counting, I have one still in the box. Hopefully I’ll be able to put it on display in a few months.

Geez....comparing it to the birth of your kids or your wedding day?

I guess I'm the only one that had massive buyer's remorse. I go it out of the box and thought, "OK. That's pretty neat I guess. What the hell am I supposed to do with this now?"

This was basically my experience:

There is not shame to have experienced remorse after buying this. Me too, it happened sometimes by lack of space. I displayed it with an acrylic case a few years ago before the birth of my son, my cabinet became its bedroom so i packed back the batmobile in its box. I hope i will can display it properly again in a few years when i will can move.
But one thing is clear, i prefer had few remorse to have it than eternel regret to have never bought it...
This is an awesome Batmobile replica that saw miraculously the light of day and that won't ever be produced at this scale again...

Hot toys made it easy for us to change and replace the LED?s should they go wrong or burn out, taking it apart it is easy though, you just need a long screw driver!

Add DFanatic to the list, got one and finally taking out of the box in the next few weeks (boxed away since release!).

Don't know if you are going to find a replacement like that. But you could cut the wires at the base of the LED plate and then get some new LED's and solder the connections to the wires. They would hang freely in the headlight compartment but should still have a good light effect.

Just my thoughts, anyone who has dealt with changing the headlights on this please help him out.

Sounds like a plan ! Thank you jacerc130!

No problem, I'd try taking that plate a part first just to see if you can remove the bulbs. But looking at it, I kind of doubt it.

Not sure what your soldering skills are or electrical knowledge, so please don't take offense.

It looks like this is wired in series and if you go with cutting the board at the base of the wires and attaching directly to LED's you need to wire it in parallel. Don't forget to use heat shrink on the leads after you have soldered to prevent shorting.

hope it turns out good, post some pics when you are done!
