1/6 Batman 1989: Batmobile Collectible Vehicle - Specs & Pics

Batman takes up more room than all my other figures put together, mainly because of all the vehicles. I have the 89, Tumbler, Camo Tumbler, Batpod, Armoury and Bat signal. I was working on a 1/7ish scale "The Bat" (on hold for now) as well as the 66 on pre-order. I will either eventually build a bigger shed or move to a bigger house.

christ camo tumbler is a hidden holy grail nowdays!

I keep forgetting im on the same boat as you peeps because 1989 Batman was my first hot toys despite the fact that i had other chances to get other figures, i remember the hype whenever the godfather and tdk batman were it, but once i saw ?89 batman that was it.

Had a chance to get a tumbler but never jumped on it either, iddk maybe yoooo that armoury has quadrupled in pricing!!! i have seen it for 1,500 with alfred and bruce wayne!!

I ended up having it custom made here in Southern California after the Batmobile came in. I think it came out to around $125. For the base, I went to Home Depot and bought a sturdy but affordable piece of wood and cut it down and painted it black.

I?m not sure if this is a good price or not, but if anyone?s looking for one I can obtain a used Batmobile for $900 shipped worldwide. Unfortunately just like those listings on eBay, the original box is prohibited due to exceeding current postage regulations.

Add me on that too, ha ha. Bought mine at retail cost in 2014 thanks to Toy Anxiety in Arizona. They hooked me up with my '05 Batmobile (the re-release) at cost as well, got that one in 2012. Currently have the BvS/JL Batmobile on pre-order from JazzInc and I cannot wait. Only thing is, where am I going to put these three?! Ha ha.

Batmobile lights issue! Looking for advice:

So I put some batteries in my 89 Batmobile today and was surprised to see the lights no longer function. (I tried a whole lotta batteries, so I know they weren't the issue.) Anybody run into this problem, and anybody have a solution? The cockpit just isn't as cool without the light-up feature!

One of the premises for even making this list (besides idle fun) was the idea that only 800 of these were ever made. We have no way of knowing for certain .. but if that's true we're looking at a hair over 6% of the production run accounted for here.

Very interesting... I know very well this shop. May I ask you at what price did they listed it?

I think it was around 800 euros. They got a few pieces in summer 2018, which sold out in a day, and a few pieces by the end of 2018, which I got notified by automatic email alert and jumped on it right away. Great deal, plus it was very reasonable shipping since I am in Europe also, and no import tax.
