I've had one for years now, too. Got mine from an Amazon dealer in Japan for $260 shipped! Brand new in the box. Easily my best Hot Toys deal ever!

I'm struggling to figure out how I'm going to display mine. I know the wings are detachable (for shipping), so I'm hesitant to mount it on the wall for fear it won't be stable. That's an awful lot of money to fall and hit the floor.

I've also got the 1966 Batmobile on order with Joost, so I have to build a decent size cabinet before September, anyway.

I love the 1/6 vehicles, I just wish I would've payed attention way back in Geometry class to figure out how to make everything fit :)

If you decide to mount it on a wall, choose a solid wall, the Batwing will be 20 kg (44 lbs)..

I've also got the 89 Batmobile.

Bought it new from angolz toys out of Hong Kong via amazon in 2015. I paid $750 and shipping was free :)

I’ve had mine since it first came out and paid for it using the payment plan from Sideshow.
Best purchase I’ve ever made for any collectibles. There was the issue with the rub marks on the first shipments, but mine was very minimal and not visible unless pointed out and looked at from a very close distance.

Oh snap. I had not really thought that through either. At least there is time to plan some sort of horizontal bracket mounted in the studs, like the wall mounts for tvs.

Are those all the Kenner vehicles underneath it.

Yep. It's one of eight tables like it in my room. Most have the Kenner vehicles underneath (one has Batman board games, and a few have some of the weird Kenner Batman variant figures from animated Batman through Batman & Robin).

This is a super old photo, but the only one I have on this computer. I'm due a photo shoot of my collection, but it needs a good dusting first!

I cannot tell from the photo, but if you have the Batmobile wheels directly on the table, there is a possibility of a chemical reaction with the tires. My rear tires have some damage from the table I used when I bought it.

The 1989 Batman and this Batmobile are what got me into the hobby back in 2010. They have destroyed my life while providing me an endless amount of joy whenever I look at them...

I'm in the same spot.
Living in France, I've already snapped on the BVS / JL Batmobile and for now I'm pulling the breaks on the Batwing but it grows in me everyday...

I think we are on the same boat. The 89 Batmobile and Batman put me too in this hobby.
I’m really happy for the left them behind of the 66 Batmobile from HT, that Jazz came in this market. I realize that if the 89 Batmobile would have been canceled by HT, there would have been an alternative solution. Even maybe better (already great) than the HT one.

Nyrmala Cocorico :wink1:
Me too, each time I see the 1/6 Batwing I want to get into the adventure but how the hell i could display a 2500 $, 1 meter square and 20 kg collectible... if it would have been the approx price of the 66 Batmobile ( 1200 $) I would have jumped on it. But 2500 $...
Even if I 100% understand the price due to the very very low units produced.
And I realize that, as so cool as it is, it’s not as necessary and iconic as the Batmobile is...

Another one.

LOL ... as big as my collection has got over the years, I do massive purges from time to time. Keeps things well within limits and reminds me of what I truly love.
