thats a great photo, only trouble being is with the tumbler and batmobile bought where an earth will most average collectors fit the batwing at 21 ft wide

You're right about all of those details except for it being too wide. At 39 inches long x 16 inches wide, it actually has the longest length to width ratio of any 1989 Batmobile model yet.

ya i think im just used to it looking from ground level and not a above shot in movies. but even when modeled it for my own portfolio i didnt get the "thick/wide" feel. and with doing all my research and modeling it those minor flaws just stand out to me. damn my attention to detail lol

Yes, like that. Isn't the "table" that's included with the new Mark II just a cardboard insert from the box?

2013 gives me some time to save up, so looks like I'll be pre-ordering.

I love the cocoon. It gives us a Batmobile for each display, Returns and '89. So for a measly $600, I get two Batmobiles. Awesome job, Hot Toys.

It's absolutely stunning! Only feature they didn't include is a burning afterburner.

I'd love to own this and as a kid having seen the real thing several times in person, it's become my favorite car ever built. It's just something I could never afford. The 1:18 Hot Wheels version will just have to do.

Its not as if this item is going to be crazy expensive... Just put on hold buying any other collectibles for a period of time and I'm sure you'll be able to save up.

Anyone here have the "1/10" scale (in quotes because it's actually smaller) Richmans Toys Batmobile with lights and cocoon case? Up until I saw these pics, that was my favorite 89 Batmobile model, despite it's flaws.

I wonder if anyone will attempt to convert this to a fully functioning RC. It's definitely do-able, but I wouldnt be comfortable with the risk of collision.

definitely going to get this but I think something is still off from the proto..just can't put my fingers on it..the toynami version looks so much better in my eyes...
