Outstanding figure. You should be very proud. For me, looks to be my favorite so far. And I like the price.

The figure stats say 11 inches -- if there's anyway to make it regular 12 inches that would be better for Saruman/Lee as he was very tall in real life, over six feet tall.

Nevermind on my last post. Photo was definitely the issue, another shot from Asmus site. As well as the figure info!

Fantastic. I wasn't in for this, and October is already violating my wallet, but this guy would look fantastic across Gandalf the Grey when Asmus delivers that. Borderline sold.

I agree with everyone, he needs a taller body to match Lee's. It's still early enough on I think Asmus can pull that swap. Also, his belt appears to be a plastic, I'm okay with this, let's just please ensure we don't have another sticky situation like the bandoliers on Eowyn I've been reading about.

Otherwise, outstanding. Hands down their best delivery and it really makes me excited for Gandalf. Asmus is picking up the pace nicely.

WOW! This has everything people wanted! Even the pedestal.

Looks excellent! Looks to be their BEST figure yet.

Yep. Looks better than all the previous versions of him, and puts Asmus in a whole other league. Promising figure, well deserving of the character and the actor.
I just hope they clarify the issue about his height. Shoudn't be too hard, there are plenty of ways to make a figure taller.

Well it says approximately 30 CMs. That's about 11 13/16", about an 1/8" shy of 12". I wonder if the new Witchking body would work. To be scale it should be about 12 13/16".

I hope. I looked him up, he was 6'5" in real life. Really tall dude for sure. WWII vet as well.

Costumes look very similar (if not identical) to me:

(the youtube video is bigger)

Obviously the portrait is an "old" CL from LOTR, not the "very very old" one from the Hobbit.

Also I don't think this is fundamental for the character (it's not Darth Vader or Lurtz) but everyone is right...the guy should be towering over Gandalf.

I mean Christoper Lee, of course. Even with makeup and maybe CGI you can tell how much he aged between the two trilogies.
