You're thinking of Olivetti's design.
I would personally have it done by someone else not that I won't buy an Olivetti designed Apocalypse but I'd prefer the classic look.

Like this but with him looking forward or a bit down. Survival of the fittest baby!

I don't think apocalypse can be a PF, he doesn't have any fabric in his costume

Yes it can. In the future anything 1/4 (fully sculpted or mixed media) is a PF according to Sideshow.
