I honestly always though the concept of Freddy was much scarier than Jason's. IMO

Jackie Earle Haley's the main selling point for me. If it weren't for his casting I'd be really down on this one.

I've got high hopes mainly because of Jackie Earle Haley in Watchmen.

I'm not all that impressed, either, but you can't tell much from the trailers. I think much of the success of this film will hinge on whether the suspense works or not. That's not something you can tease out from the trailers. Certainly, it has a lot to live up to.

I'm hearing a sort of candyman vibe to the way the voice is overdubbed. Thats kinda cool. I gotta avoid watching clips. generally Its a disaster when I see clips before hand.
