so what all did you paint the ground and what else looks great

I painted the entire exterior. Ground, hut, leaves, threes, vines. Also added black in the furnish. Planning on repainted the green light to orange.

Best,

Robert

Really nice work!

I recall awhile back another member repainted the hut and used some of the diorama water stuff (not sure what it's called :lol) to make puddles; it was a really was a nice touch and looked great!

Thanks. Yes that's next on my list. Still waiting on my package of deluxe materials solid water. Plan to mix it with paint for the muddy water ;)

Another update. I sealed the entire dio with matte varnish, but it became waaaay too shiny so i mixed brown and green to give the hut itself some washes. After that i drybrushed some parts and fixed the shineyness.

I've added solid water from deluxe materials to create some water puddles. This way it seems that dagobah got it's share of rain and the hut is drying. I then painted to solid water on places that needed wetlook. I did only a few touches at the entrance because yoda heats up his doorway since he has no door lol. This baby is almost done. Needs to dry within 24/48 hours.

Possibly final update. Added another layer of solid water mixed with oil paint. My wife said the transparant water looked like yoda took a piss everywhere :p. Tried acryllic paint, but that caused a lot of flaking.

For those who want to color their water. Mix your oil paints to get the right color. Then add the 2 parts resin en mic them. Finally the 1 part hardener.

Really nice job.

I wanted to get one of these, but SSC wouldn't let me FLEX it, because there were only a few left. Thought that was a bit shirty of them.

This was never on my radar until recently but I would LOVE one now. Seems like it would be impossible to get in the UK for less than the cost of a car now.

I bought the probe droid with the funds Robert. Waiting to pick it up. The original hut looks so......plain without your custom paint.
