I would say I will draw you up plans but I have to be strong and stay on target LOL.

I have a few commandos to make for folks and then it OT time!!!!

Yeah it ashame that people don't say thanks when you send them something thats for sure. It's a pity that you couldn't take pics of it painted but these pics still look awesome D.

that is too bad. wonder if he disappeared for personal reasons. i'm sure he appreciates it very much. i know i would!!! it was wonderful work Mark!

Yeah done dusted and given away.

It was all really odd.
I made it for a chap on the forum for nothing... took me a while like a year LOL. He was all cool about it and I finished painted it all up and weathered it. Sent it to him... but he never even said it arrived. I know he received it very strange.

Did not have any finished shots of it, but these are the last ones I took.

There's nothing like gratitude and that's NOTHING like gratitude ! :cuckoo:

Looks pretty good , I still harbour plans to build a BARC Speeder for Neyo . It's a matter of getting my hands on one of the 4 3/4 scale Hasbro toys , but they are still pretty expensive at the mo . A workmate had promised to do a 1/6 scale plan for me , but it's failed to appear ( as yet !) :impatient:

Since I have some inside info on the situation, Allow me.

The guy you sent it to, Is a RL friend of mine. He recently moved from here to N.C. He doesn't currently have internet access at home. He recently got out of the army on Full medical due to a botched surgery.
He's Usualy On ALOT of morphine, and other painkillers, and is not very lucid alot of the time at the moment. Heh, infact, he forgot to put my street addy on the last box he sent me :lol Thankfully UPS figured it out. He's a Great Guy, life just Crapped on him Alot lately. I talk to him about once a week, IF he's feeling ok enough to talk. when i hear from him next, I'll ask about the speeder, and post his response.

He's an awesome guy, loves this stuff, and likely is estatic with it, but I'll let you know for sure when We talk next.

That's good to know... would suck to think someone would get an awesome piece like that and not even "thank the maker" :lol

thanks lerath. please let him know that he's in my prayers and hope he can have a full recovery. i freaking don't trust doctors.

That's very cool of you Dorgs . ( You've not forgotten about my Scout helmet have you old chap? I only mention it 'cos I'm off on my jollies on Monday and I doubt I'll have access to the board for a couple of weeks ).:wink1:

lerath666, I can not thank you enough for filling us in man. Like I said it was really odd, I spoke to him quite a bit and now you have explained everything falls into place. He was always cool about stuff like me taking ages to do it but I wanted it to be good. But sometimes the communication was... well like I was speaking to more than one chap.

But now it all figures. Please please pass on my regards and hope things improve for him.

:)

Sorry to bump some old photos, but I had to post a couple comments.

I haven't looked in on this thread in awhile, but WOW, that MF looks awesome!

That look on Luke's face is priceless. Looks like he got caught playing hide the sausage. :lol

Will do. and for the record, he's Already recovered more or less as much as is medically possible. His new doctors have told him he will be on morphine and other painkillers for the rest of his life. Like i said to him when we talked a few weeks ago, "life seems to keep crapping on him"

Anywho, I'll try to get him to send me some completed pics of the bike. And post em up here.

Very inspiring : )

Makes me want to get out the tools and fashioning some environments for my 1/6's...thanks for sharing.

Any New Updates on this?

This is an amazing Job.

I just built my second Fine Molds 1/72 Falcon, and will be heavily Modifing an old MPC Falcon to reflect what she looked like in the first Film.

Again Excellent work!

Wow I would love to see pics of that. I have every intention of getting back on with the falcon and finishing the x-wing but I am just having a wee break for a while... but I can not wait to get started again.

Wow that is amazing!!!!!! The weathering is stunning, is it just washes? I want that effect on the cockpit of mine and on the x-wing. Please post of the old MPC Millennium Falcon to mate.

Many Humble thanks Sir!

I used a varity of techniques to get the weathering. I had to keep in mind "Scale" as to not go overboard. Yes Washes, Airbrushing, Pencil, Rust etc....

I haven't started the MPC New Hope Falcon yet. I am still getting the correct aftermarket parts to really do her up! Once I get started , I'll shoot you some Pics Sir!

Again, You Have Great Modeling skills Sir! At 1/6 Scale!!!Awesome!!!!!

So kind but promise me when you start it make a thread and post pics all the way. I love watching stuff develop and grow. We all normally get so carried away we forget to take photos.
