Actually, the ones djedi posted are the ones I have but the ones he posted are for the finemolds model, there's better ones that are basically a paper model of the cockpit. they are buy the same guy. Credit should go out to a guy by the name of Ozzyguanche who made them.

There's also a floor piece for the diagram. The cockpit has a step. You come in the door, there's the 2 back chairs and there's a step up to the pilot/co-pilot seats.

Actually, Ozzy's e-mail address is on the one sheet. E mail him and tell him what you're doing and he'll send them to you. He's obsessed with the falcon, and made those drawings to accurize the old MPC Millennium falcon model put out in the 70's.

Woo this is proving to be an asteroid field of complications, but fun.
Thanks to numerous board members who have pointed things out that I had no idea about. Like the fact the cockpit appears to be on two levels and the is a step up into the cockpit!! There does not seem to be any blueprints and most of the plans seem to be from above. SO I have been watching scenes from ANH over and over again... I Really don't think I will be able to get it movie accurate but I will do the best that I can do.

Normally with most of my projects I just get stuck in and work it out as I go along... But this project I really have to get the base right. I think once I have figured pout the confusing console area things will be a lot more straight forward.... I hope.... :)

Its definatly a case of starting at the bottom and working your way up :lol if make it so the whole top lifts off that would make things easier surely.

Yep I think so I just want to get going but the more I do the more I have to stop and think. I am trying to do the centre console atm. One issue is that if I make it how it should be... I will not get my chewie in!!!!! LOL

I have figured it out... the way to overcome all my problems... and that is to steal Solo's line.... "I have made a lot of special modifications myself"

You kill me Dorgs.... I wish I had your drive. Between watching the baby, football and taking my wife to the ER I had zero time to even look at my Dewback.... You, on the other hand, build the frame work of a truly ambitious project! Looking good, mate.

Right here is the latest update.... SO I started work on the centre console as you can see from the pics.....
But its alll wrong LOL all of it!! The console, the floor the size..... so its back to the drawing board for the MF MKII.....

MKII

Right with the MKI falcon in the scrap yard its time for MKII. I was fortunate enough to get some really good plans from another board member... So I got to work straight away and printed em out to scale.... humm a trifle large they were... so I beavered away in to the early hours of the morning, measuring and cutting and sawing and hammering.....

And MKII is underway...

Buggar! I got the scale wrong.... could of sworn I got it right.... :(

The door should be a little taller that Han......

OW back to the drawing board.... MKII falcon heads for the scrap heap.....

It appears that the Falcon cockpit is much smaller than I thought..... much smaller.....
