Just noticed it has some major bobblehead effect going on with that little neck. Sculpted with the head might have been a better idea.

Don't know what to make of Asmus. They want to be taken seriously with licensed LOTR then goes on to make stuff like this.

Would you have bought an official Hot Toys John Connor?

My thinking is, they're not going to make him so if you feel any need at all to have the little **** represented in your T2 collection you just have to take what you can get. And sure maybe the head on this looks terrible and the final product head will also be terrible, but maybe the body is the best one you could get and/or maybe you won't get better clothes than this. So....


I still haven't ordered due to that e-mail address rejection. However I did try my brother's email address and that seems like it will work, unless some later difficulty comes up with my paypal address being different. I just would want to let him know in advance of doing this.

Fixing the paint would go a long long way to making this appealing. Asmus' paint usually isn't all that bad, so maybe it'll turn out ok.

Was this directed towards me A-dev? If so then It really depends. I guess I've never really felt the need to own a 1/6 T2 John. Kind of like what you said about Marty Mcfly,(which I also own) I'm not sure if he's one of those characters that I feel the need to be represented in action figure/doll form. If Neca made John I'd probably buy him, just because of how inexpensive it would be. How Cool would it be if HT re-did the T2 biker T-800? Especially if the likeness was closer to the DX13. Maybe have a deluxe set that includes his Harley and John Connor. I couldn't pass that up.
