Yeah, it seems odd that delays would change someone's desire to have it. Did they have time-sensitive plans for the figure? Plenty of other stuff to occupy ourselves with until it shows up.

Didn't you guys get the memo? The film was released in 1981 / the hype officially expired last week. No one will want the figure anymore. Well done sideshow, you missed the hype by delaying the figure and undoubtably ensuring its going to be a far superior product than had you rushed it. I hope you're proud of yourselves.

I have my 1/6th U.S.P.F. Troopers standing by to Escort Plisskin once transferred to this facility. Plus 1/6th Glider Jet for upcoming Op is not quite done so a little longer to get it ready for him I guess lol

Er, if you check the site, SS don't have any Drake's. So 'mountains of unsold stock' is slightly off the mark. I'm guessing they won't have an issue selling out of snake either.

I'm surprised that keeps showing up with bargain prices, I didn't realize they're hurting that bad for sales on it

It doesn't seem like its the quality that is the issue... they seem like incredible figures. But, at least for me the movie was kind of meh, so I wouldn't really want figures from it.

I wish I liked it more, as that Zod figure is particularly badass looking.

I've had instances cause the price on them has gone pretty low where I've almost got them. But the movie is one I will see once unlike some of the other figures I've bought.

Same here, I was doing the math on how much Zod and Superman would be... then I stopped and reminded myself I don't need the figures if I didn't like the movie

But, it was such a good deal I had to do that at least 3 times over the last month I did pick up the v2 Elder Predator though... so got something on sale

I'm Jealous I had 2 figures I wanted to end the year with, the Elder and BR Joker, if I could get joker on sale that is. But I can't put a flexpay on Predator, I tried today on live chat. But that's ok I'll just wait and hope HT makes a Predator Jungle Hunter V.2 along with Dutch 2.0

The longer it takes the more of a bargain it becomes compared with prices of newly announced figures.

Seriously, I enjoyed that movie. I'd love to have all three, but we all have limits, some of us more than most. My grandmother had a great saying: It's only a good deal if you'd have paid full price for it in the first place. I almost never remember that she said that, and it's to my detriment. We could all do better by knowing what we can afford, and sticking to it.

Actually, saying "It's on it's way by boat" is a 'pat answer' on behalf of the Sideshow rep. It may or may not be on any boat. My personal experience when talking to Sideshow reps is that they have NO clue what they're talking about. They're only slightly more helpful than Amazon Customer Service, lol. It could be on it's way over, but it just as easily could not. I wouldn't expect it by the 25th, at any rate. It'll happen when it happens. If this figure is your reason for getting up every morning, I'd try and switch myself over to something a little more... reliable in regards to delivery dates.

There are a lot of people I ignore but like the color of the rainbow we all have different opinions or else we all would be loving HT,SS,EB, and Medicom. In the most anticipated figures of 2015 someone said Deadpool and I actually thought that was cool amongst all the other obvious choices.
