Re: 1/6 Hot Toys - WW 1984 - Wonder Woman (Golden Armor) Collectible Figure

Looks like the same gold they used for the Iron Man Midas armor

Re: 1/6 Hot Toys - WW 1984 - Wonder Woman (Golden Armor) Collectible Figure

It will be a gorgeous figure no doubt. It's cool they are using the Kingdom Come look but just nit my cup of tea.

I'll get the regular armour as long as it gets a new sculpt.

Re: 1/6 Hot Toys - WW 1984 - Wonder Woman (Golden Armor) Collectible Figure

Hopefully it gets made- it is too chromy but I will get it. Not a lot on the horizon for DC until Reeves Batman.

Re: 1/6 Hot Toys - WW 1984 - Wonder Woman (Golden Armor) Collectible Figure

The Midas was never this reflective, it was extremely dull compared to this

True, but I believe he's referring to the gold chrome re-release.

Knew this design reminded me of something...

HAHA! SIL-VER, HAWWWWWKS!

This could end up being one of the worst figures Hot Toys has ever produced - not their fault because they feel compelled to due it because of the license, but this isn't a buy for me. Nothing about this really says Wonder Woman.

I forgot who posted the video on Youtube (Justin?s Collection perhaps?) but in the exhibition now, I thought I saw that the chin part of the helmet is less pronounced or perhaps even removed now (compared to original photos posted).

You are correct. See below @ the 10:45 mark.

Re: 1/6 Hot Toys - WW 1984 - Wonder Woman (Golden Armor) Collectible Figure

I like what I see in Justin's video. Highly polished gold chrome look is fine. The movie is in the 80s so a matte gold wouldn't fit the world. Remember it was fluorescent yellows, greens, hot pinks and turquoise colors with glossy metallics that are from that time.

I hope she has a removable helmet or non-helmet head so you can do this look

I gotta see it in action, these pics make her look like she?s part of a jlo music video.

Hell Yeah! Updated headsculpt!

Easily their best Gadot sculpt yet. The armor doesn't look so chromed out there as well. Looks good! Nice improvements all around.

Re: 1/6 Hot Toys - WW 1984 - Wonder Woman (Golden Armor) Collectible Figure

Wow, it's about damned time. That looks miles better, and nice to see them finally get away from the open mouth expression.

Re: 1/6 Hot Toys - WW 1984 - Wonder Woman (Golden Armor) Collectible Figure

I agree, the headsculpt looks way better than anything we have gotten so far, to include the training armor version. Not a fan of this outfit though. Hopefully I can pick up a parted out headsculpt from this though

Re: 1/6 Hot Toys - WW 1984 - Wonder Woman (Golden Armor) Collectible Figure

Can't believe they finally did a new sculpt. Hopefully they release her classic outfit as well with this, I'll finally get a WW then.

Re: 1/6 Hot Toys - WW 1984 - Wonder Woman (Golden Armor) Collectible Figure

Okay...suddenly a little more interesting...

Re: 1/6 Hot Toys - WW 1984 - Wonder Woman (Golden Armor) Collectible Figure

Yeah. This figure did just become more interesting. I just got the DC Multiverse Golden Armor version and even at only 7 inches it’s a very striking and fun figure to pose.
