1/6 - Hot Toys: MMS481 - Avengers: Infinity War - Captain America

I think the figure looks good, and the likeness is there. And I know that the whole look and accessories come from Marvel storywise.
But it just doesn't feel like Captain America for me if he doesn't have his helmet and his classic shield (personally I wouldn't care about proximas spear)...

On the other hand, I really want a Cap (civil war version). So this one seems to be my only chance if I don't want to pay 400 € on the bay.

I just hope that the mystery weapon is at least his classic shield.

For those who have watched the movie, any good guess on what would be the second mystery weapon?

Besides the proxima spear (which I think will definitely be one of them). I watched the movie earlier today and didn't spot anything else.

Well it's cause it's not Cap. He dropped that mantle as soon as he gave Tony the shield back. He's definitely Nomad at this point but who knows if he gets the shield back at the end of Infinity War and takes up the mantle one last time.

I'm honestly at a loss for what it could be? He didn't really use any other weapons aside from the Wakanda shield and the proxima spear? I feel like the only thing could be the infinity gauntlet but?? He has no interaction with it other than the Thanos-fist-grab?

Agreed. Having watched the movie I can only call this a 'Movie Promo Edition' - lets add a secret weapon cash grab. In the scheme of things Cap wasn't even that major of a character in the movie,... Aside from having his moment where he fodders grunts, and tries to go one on one with Thanos, which didn't end up being his demise like the trailer/internet speculation teased, I don't see where secret accessories fit in with him.. Would have made much more sense with Iron Man, who is not only the one pinup character who is arguable bigger than Cap, but has more prominence in the movie, and more one on one time with Thanos

For those who shared their thoughts about the mystery weapon and have already watched the movie, without giving spoilers, do those mystery weapons make you excited to buy the Movie Promo Edition? By the way, thanks for sharing your ideas. I'll look at them after I watch the movie.

Could be anything from an Infinity gauntlet so he can do the one scene of him fighting thanos..to one of Iron mans weapons (shield maybe since he made like ten) to some item they cut from the final film.

As for someone else saying this is a “cash grab”. Can we please get over that idea? There’s a whole other version people can buy that’s not movie promo. And it’s not like the previous movie promo versions included things that where super valuable and played pivotal film roles. The little gum ball green holographic iron man pack in, or the absolute nothing with the mk7 stealth.
