The two things I don't love about the figure is the limited head articulation and the metallic hair. I know blond (in Hamill's case I guess brown/blond) hair is tough, and HT seems to struggle a bit with it - but this looks like copper. And I'm really wanting to pose him looking down at the lightsaber, but the head really can't look down or up very far, even a noticeable head tilt is tough to do. Love the wiring in the cuffs.

Unfortunately SSC 3PO looks like Lurch from the Addams Family next to this Luke. The Luke may be 1/8" too short and I guess SSC 3PO is 1/8-1/4" too tall.

I'm with you on the head movement - really limiting and it surprised me.

I'm pretty sure threepio was a bit taller than Luke though. I haven't put them back to back but they seem right to me.

^^ Man that doesn't look like the Hamill we know. Such a chameleon. Darth_IMPoor, I now understand why you're poor! Great set-up though, I'm not gonna lie. :wink1:

Trying a new pose for Luke. No way helmet is going on again. Not risking scuffing the nose again...ever.

Think the stormtrooper belt is next!

Also, is anyone else a bit worried about this swap out arm business? I'm seriously worried something will snap or break while swapping arms out. Not even bothered doing it with my vader yet.

I have Stormtrooper Luke and the grappling hook does come out with ease and winds back in. So the easy solution was just to switch them between the figures, which I did.

It is a little tough to do (really had to wrestle the figure, and then the wrong - lower - elbow joint came out, not the upper) but it all feels pretty sturdy and not easily broken.

Wonderful figure (and package) but I'm really not a huge fan of the copper sheen on the hair.:dunno:(

Shame the long rifle doesn't have a strap to sling on his back like his daughter does with her staff. He'd be fully loaded out with all his accessories.

So I just made a base for Luke and plan to make more for Obi Wan and the droids. Used an old sideshow figure stand, PVA glue, play sand and White acrylic paint. Quite pleased with the results.

Man, it's funny you say that, because I'm a big time accessories guy, and would throw everything on him if I could. [emoji851][emoji106]

Great idea. Gotta try that with some of my off brand stands I picked up. I've got a couple of Buffy the vampire slayer stands and a reservoir dogs stand that I don't have figures for that I'd be happy to try that on. Maybe there could be a way to spray it on so it would come off when you need it to. Hmm

Great pictures everyone!

The final payment for this figure for me is scheduled for this Monday, and then Kylo on Tuesday. Should be a good week next week!
