for real that was kinda dumb, he super fast but not faster than bullets? he should have been able to grab them and dodge the bullets easily, stupid movie execs.

They where subsonic rounds coming hundreds a minute. To "catch" them all he would have to be moving much much much faster then the speed of sound. This wasn't a single hand gun bullet, or five. I'm not a math wiz but to catch them all(he could run away but then Hawkeye dies...or avoid them all would be impossible short of near light speed at best. He didn't appear to be anywhere near that fast.

Thing is though, 616 and even Ultimate Pietro also aren't fast enough to catch bullets so technically, the movie was accurate to how fast he can go. DOFP Peter got a power boost and was basically Barry/Bart Allen fast.
