Playing with the wall plaque at the mo and it looks like a pile of pooh... literally a pile of pooh... wish I could sculpt haha

Well I think its important to show the bad bits toooo... so heres me pile of pooooohhh. I will paint it up when it cures and see how pants it looks then get back to the drawing board...... sorry its so small I pressed the wrong button.... humm looks better small

Moving swiftly on I need to figure out the inside curve of the booth.

I have used another piece of wood to help me get a rough guide for the curve.

dahhh cheers mate so exciting to take photos like I used to.

Well I finished the plaque behind Greedo.... looks ok but I will wait till the second Booth is finished to really decide.

Today has been a very special day... I got asked to fix the door on the Village Post Office.... I know it sound dumb... but for me its just heaven!!!!! I feel complete.... sad git!

Today has been a very special day... I got asked to fix the door on the Village Post Office.... I know it sound dumb... but for me its just heaven!!!!! I feel complete.... sad git!

It doesn't sound dumb at all, it just lacks context. Is it a major repair or restoration of an antique? What is the type of work?

haha trust me its dumb! they basically could not shut the front door as the hinges were shot to bits and its been bad for years. I just rehung it and now its totally perfect!! told you it was dumb!


next step is to sort the inside curves for the flexible MDF to fix to.

I will draw up some plans later and pop em up.

Drawing the curve can be tricky but there are loads of ways of doing it but I am using a length of pip, but you could use string or a compass with an extension arm.
The board is 54cmx44cm I think!
the radius of the curve is 27 cm and is 17cm up from the base line... I think it will be easier with a plan!

Next up is to cut these cheeky little puppies out. Clamp em together and out with the jiggysaw....

my window is about 12cm up from the bottom and 7cmx7cm. I have made it quite big as I want to do the angled recesses but the final window will be about 4cmx4cm.

So glue, screw, or whatever your arches to the front and back.. When I made Ferozes I had the front separate as the MDF i used was thicker.

Please ignore the massive gap at the top of my arch. I am using what ever I can find to make this.

Brinn71.... after all the help and support you have given me over the past few years if you knock on my door on Tuesday we sit down, drink tea, talk dollies and you will leave my house with a cantina booth under your arm my friend..

Right ever onwards into the realms of dollies.... next on your booths is the inside wall and ceiling using the fexi-mdf.

So I have cut the width down to 30cm and shoved it in the back wall to measure its length..
