It seems from the proto pics we're seeing of the 1/4 Mk.42, the gap has improved significantly.

STGCC is August 31 to September 1.
I hope we see more improvements with all the 1/4 Iron Man figures.
I'm looking to get out of 1/6.
yes, but like you said before, the gap was pretty annoying. I believe they can close the gap eventually.

Isn't it supposed to come with interchangable battle damage pieces? The 1/4 one I think.
yes it is:hi5:

Ani-Com 2013 (more pictures)

Don Cheadle looks spot on besides the huge nostrils...
Tony's BD face looks too fake
And my god Peppers face is so SMOOTH!!

Any1 interested in just the hall of armour and remote that comes with the 1/6? Don't think I will display the mark vii in it and will probably end up sitting in the box!

I thought pepper was too smooth looking at first glance, I think the paint is ok now. just those eyes and eyebrows that make it look like a barbie:dunno

Those are NICE sculpts- they look like the actors to me- they are new to this game so paint aps can't come close to HT...so you gotta decide if you can settle for this quality I guess if you want the figures

Yeah, it looks like (with any figure really) there's a compromise to be made.

You can have the armors at 1/4 and in diecast, but paint app isn't as good as it can be. At the prices they're asking, these should be the definitive version of the armors.

Too bad, really. I might have to pass all together.

^ the paint on the armor looks great Imo.
the problem is they can't paint headsculpt as good as ht nor enterbay. But I'll reserve my opinion until I see the final product :wave

No doubt.
I'm still hoping these turn out great. Need to get armors larger than 1/6.

Wow 1/4 scale and they still look less detailed than Hot Toys, not impressed with them other than the light up feature with Gemini's helmet design. War Machines fists = :rotfl

These actually look decent. More details than the first prototype pics they showed. That Cheadle sculpt is awesome!

I'm still not convinced, however, and in-hand pics will help to make the final decision. After all, I wasn't that impressed with their 1/6 Mk. 42 release.
