Are the areas around some of the battle damage supposed to look faded? On mine, a huge section of the pelvis is totally faded out, no sheen to the paint.

This. It’s really just not a good release. The headsculpt is subpar and was unseen prior to release. After preordering the battle damaged version, I knew I would eventually have to cut this one loose. With this headsculpt and the utter lack of accessories, I won’t be losing much sleep about it.

Some strange black dots up at the shoulder and then a scrape near the elbow that sheared off a thin top layer. Marks are small in size but easily noticed when up close.

Finally opened mine today. Beautiful figure, as others have noted. Vulnerable arms, as others have noted. The right arm of my figure has a few defects. I suppose if I can't land a replacement arm, I can think of it as realistically imperfect skin. :)
