It may also be due to whoever is assigned to work on the sculpt of specific figures. I don't keep track of who's doing which sculpt but there are some good looking sculpts as well such as Endgame BW and the Thanos sculpts.

You may want to add some extra padding to the clamp. It may damage the pleather jacket if you keep it that way long term.

I'd love to see some pictures of your figures in dioramas if you don't mind sharing. :) I also plan to pose some of my figures interacting with each other in a diorama style on top of my detolfs due to lack of display space.

I can't tell the difference too. But it got me excited to get my first and only Iron Man. The colors remind me of Iron Man in the comics, which is a plus for me.

I've never tried using the ankle extenders before, but thinking about it, it sounds like the cloth you are using is too thin. You may want to double up or add something else like a small piece of paper towel or tissue to adjust the thickness of the cloth.
