I do want a Returns Batman back in the collection so won't be disappointed by this. Still, would love to see some of those alternate suits made. Probably another Hot Toys tease that goes nowhere.

Definitely getting this. I love the original, but I skipped the battle damage version. Looks great, better than the regular Batman 2.0

He said (earlier last year) that they were definitely going to make those suits, specially that Arctic one and the one with gun holsters but the movie bombed so they put those on hold or maybe dropped them totally. But I'll ask him again if there is something still happening with those.

Oh, OK. Might be interested as my 1.0 is deteriorating, a strange white fog is coming over the suit. Of course it'd be no use if the 2.0 were also to deteriorate in that or some other manner.

I dunno the diecast parts don't really look metal. There is barely any metallic sheen the movie suit had. And it just looks like they're just using the same suit mold... just in diecast.

I'm going to pass this iteration and just wait for the "other" Armored Batman.
With these customs sculpts I'm more than content with my "a lot better" 1.0.

Mediocre movie, mediocre upgrades, gonna be way too expensive. But, whatever. Zero surprise Hot Toys would do this.

Looking closer you can see the diecast parts look quite different in finish than the non-diecast... kind of starts to stick out once you notice it.

And I bet the diecast parts aren't on any of the damaged pieces, so it's back to plastic for that look.

This is fine. Never got the original and somehow regretted it. Now this version has the damaged look included so the need for 2 figures is gone. I don't care if Inart does this at some point, this will do.

Up for pre-order. Regular is $300, Deluxe is $370.

Hmm. Well it’s diecast and has both the damaged and undamaged head sculpts. $370 is a premium price but I can live with it.

The big question is do I wait for InArt’s BvS Batman…? Sorry if I’m late to the party here, but has InArt stated which version of BvS Batman they’re making? Because if it’s the armored figure then I’ll pass on this and definitely wait for the InArt one.

This is intriguing to me, a figure I always slightly regretted passing on, but I fail to have any excitement for it here. This rerelease is lacking in anything new to be excited about. I try to limit myself to 2 versions of each Batman, so I'm passing for now, as for the future, who knows.

What I want to know is, will the hands fall out if you even think about breathing near them? I used double sided tape on the wrist pegs because the hands fall out so easily on the original.

Love the swap out battle damaged parts. That was a much needed design change. I’m hoping for better articulation on this one.

Is that the final movie suit? Looks like a prototype? If so that wouldn’t be accurate to compare to.
looks like a decent one for anyone who missed the 1.0 but not a must if you already own it.
